Library

The library is where approved assets are found. Open it from the library route, or see the proof on the home page.

On this page

A text query matches titles, types, and collections. Facets narrow further by asset type (Photograph, Illustration, Document) and by rights state (Approved, Under review, Restricted). Query and facet combine: a row shows only when it matches both.

Filtering happens on the page, over records already shipped with the build. Clearing the query and choosing the all-types facet restores the full list.

Asset record shape

Every asset record carries the same fields:

{
  id: 'harbor-light',
  title: 'Harbor light',
  type: 'Photograph',
  rights: 'Approved',
  license: 'Editorial, until 2027-03-01',
  collection: 'Coastal set'
}

The rights field is the decision state; the license field is the human-readable window or restriction. The Rights docs explain what each state permits.

Static adapter

The library adapter is static: records ship with the build and no request leaves the browser while searching or filtering. There is no live endpoint to configure and no loading state to design for. When records change, rebuild and republish.

Sample data

The records shipped with the package are samples, marked with data-demo="true" wherever they render. To replace them, edit the fixture at src/data/fixtures/index.js with real records in the same shape, and remove the sample marker from any record that is no longer a sample. The Customization docs give the full removal checklist.
